Frequently Asked Questions
Why? Just Why?
There a several reasons.
- In the past few years, a lot of OCs created their own small web service. All using their own domain (mostly something like c3oc.tld). This created a huge mess and some costs for the OCs. One of the ides behind c3.ee is to consolidate the web services.
- No one can remember the link to the wiki!
- I needed a site
Why “c3.ee”?
c3.ee
is pronounced “c3", so it sounds like the common phrase which refers to the "chaos communication congress". Other reasons for this domain: Short, easy to pronounce and cheap.
What are further plans?
- Provide free subdomains for OCs
- Provide free hosting for OCs
- Get a backup domain
- Get a second admin
How can I support you?
- Maintain links
- Make “c3.ee” more awesome as an designer or developer
- Be a second admin
- Provide hosting
- Buy me a coffee
What about all the other great chaos events?
This is primarly for the Congresses.
There are some “internal” pages listed!
All pages listed here have been gathered by publicly available sources like Certificate Transparency log search, your favorite search engine, posters at the congress or common sense.
Those, probably very rarely used, sites are just here for completeness. They are not on the overview page (neither as a permanent link, nor as a randomly featured page) and web crawlers are encouraged to not follow those links.
What are those “featured pages”?
Can I deep link pages?
Yes, you can! /link/foo/bar to http://full.link/fo/bar
Can I haz short link for $page?
But I can fake clicks!
